The iRead website used on Windows computers is not functional on iPads. iRead on a computer uses Adobe Flash. Flash is not supported on iPads.
The iRead App is available in the Self Service catalog. It is produced by Scholastic, the company that provides iRead. Below is an image of where the app will appear in the Self Service catalog.
1. Students are to install the iRead app from the Self Service catalog.
Note: This app can take longer than others to download and install.
2. After installing the app, you will need to go to Settings to configure the app. This will involve pasting in our school's website. From Settings, swipe down to view the apps installed on the iPad. Highlight (press) iRead. This will reveal settings panes. In the SAM URL field, students are to enter the following url:
3. After entering the above url in the appropriate area, return to the home screen and launch the app.
4. Launching the app will reveal a login screen. Student are to use the login information they were given by their teacher.
