What is Onboarding?

  • Updated

Onboarding is a course each student is enrolled in at PALCS. It is designed to be completed during the first 2 days of the school year for a student. Depending on your grade/division, you will be assigned a different Onboarding course.

Onboarding Courses

Here is an example of the Onboarding course for new High School students.

The Onboarding course is located in the My Courses Tab in the lobby under the “Non-Academic” heading.

Click on the Modules tab to see the overview of available lessons. Start at the top and make your way through the lessons.

After you have completed all modules in the course, you will fill out a Google Form and take a screenshot of the completion screen that you will submit to your academic courses to unlock access.

Our Ed Tech Help Zoom Room will also be open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM during the first week of school (August 25-28). If you are completing Onboarding after the first week of school, the Ed Tech Help Zoom Room will be open from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
