Install Instructions
To install OpenShot to your computer, open the Company Portal. (Software Distribution via the Company Portal) and locate OpenShot. Click Install.
That will download and install it to your computer.
Once that completes, you can open the OpenShot app from the Start Menu. (You can also right click the icon and pin it to the Start menu so that you can easily find it in the future.
You can now use OpenShot to edit videos on your computer.
The user guide (OpenShot Video Editor | User Guide) is a very helpful tool to learn how to use the program.
Windows 10 Instructions
We provide a simple and powerful video editor called OpenShot on student computers. It is available for download from our Software Catalog.

The Software Catalog can be accessed from the taskbar and from the desktop shortcut.

OpenShot is located in our "PALCS" Folder (example shown below). Double-click on OpenShot to download and install. The file is 125 MB and may take some time to fully download.
