To install GameMaker on a recent PALCS device, locate the Company Portal in the Start menu. (Software Distribution via the Company Portal) For older PALCS devices, with the Software Catalog instead, please scroll down for specific instructions later in this guide.
Then find the "GameMaker" app and click "Install."
It will then install the program to your computer.
Once it completes, a new icon will be added to the desktop. You can also find it by searching the start menu for "GameMaker."
You can click on these icons to start up GameMaker. The first time it runs, it may take a bit of time before it fully starts up.
Then you can use GameMaker Studio.

The first step to Installing GameMaker is to find the Software Catalog on the desktop. (Software Distribution via The Software Catalog)
Once you open that, there will be another folder called “PALCS,” inside of that we’re looking for an icon called “GameMaker Studio”
If you double click that icon it should start the installation process.
It may take some time to install, but once it does, that window will disappear and a new icon will appear on the desktop.
You can double click the icon and open up GameMaker. The first time it runs, it may take a bit of time before it fully starts up.
Then you can use GameMaker Studio.
