LinkIt! tests can be taken in the Safe Exam Browser. All students can install the Safe Exam Browser from our Software Catalog.
Steps to install the Safe Exam Browser on a school computer are:
1. First Refresh ZENworks on your school computer.
Locate the ZENworks icon in your school computer's taskbar and right click on it and a popup window will appear – when it does, click “Refresh.”
2. Open the Software Catalog (icon is located on your desktop).
3. Locate the "Safe Exam Browser" in the Web Browsers folder or in [All] and double-click. This will start the download and installation process. While installing you will see an install window like the one shown below.
It may take a long time to download and install the Safe Exam Browser. Please be patient and do not shut down or restart your computer while the program is downloading and installing. Once the application is finished installing, it will request to restart your computer, if you are not ready to restart and click No, please make sure to restart your computer sometime before clicking on the testing URL. The Safe Exam Browser will not be ready to use until you restart the computer.
4. You will be presented with a testing URL from your teacher. When you click on this link, you will it will open in the Safe Exam Browser.

Once you sign in by clicking on the "Sign in with Google" button, you can see the tests you have assigned to you and click the "Launch" button to start them.
(If the test is configured to use the lockdown browser and you have it installed on your computer, it should automatically launch the test in the lockdown browser.)
