SketchUp for Schools is a free, browser-based 3D modeling application built specifically for K-12 primary and secondary educational institutions. You can access this tool by visiting https://edu.sketchup.com/app and signing in with your School Google account.
The first time you sign in, it will ask you if it's alright to share information, click Continue.
Then allow the following permissions and click "Continue" again.
Once you grant these permissions, it should open up the SketchUp for Schools home page.
From there you can press "Start modeling" or "Create new" and it will open up the tool itself.
Here you can use all of the 3D modeling tools from any web browser.
On newer laptops with the Company Portal (Software Distribution via the Company Portal), you can download a "desktop app" version that accesses the same tool. (This is not available on older devices with the Software Catalog but this is the exact same tool as the web version.) Locate the app and click on "Install" and it will add the app to your computer.
The first time you access the desktop app, it will ask you how to access the app in the future (pin to taskbar/Start/desktop).
